Photography isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. It all started when my mother gifted me a Kodak Instamatic 20, igniting a lifelong passion for capturing the world through a lens. That passion grew into a career, and for over two decades, I’ve been crafting images that don’t just showcase beauty but tell a story—of nature, of culture, of vanishing moments that deserve to be remembered.

Hawai‘i is my home, my muse, and my responsibility. The islands have shaped me as much as I strive to capture their essence. I don’t just photograph landscapes; I immerse myself in them. From towering cliffs and endless ocean horizons to the sacred places that hold generations of stories, my work is a tribute to the land, its people, and the deep connection between them.

Volcanoes, in particular, fuel my creative spirit. There is nothing more humbling than standing at the edge of new land being born, feeling the heat, listening to the Earth shift and breathe. As a photographer for Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, I’ve had the privilege of documenting these moments of transformation, capturing the raw energy of creation itself. Volcanoes are not destruction—they are renewal, a force that reminds us of nature’s resilience and power.
